Donor Privacy

We respect and protect the privacy of all our donors. Personal information provided during the donation process is used solely for issuing receipts and 80G certificates, and for fund-utilisation communications. No donor information is disclosed to any third party without explicit consent, except as required by law.

Tax Benefits

Donations are eligible for 50% income tax deduction under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. We are also registered under Section 12A. Tax receipts are issued electronically upon successful donation. A minimum donation of ₹500 qualifies for an 80G certificate. Cash donations above ₹2,000 are not eligible for 80G deduction under current IT rules.

Donation Receipt

An electronic receipt is generated and emailed to the donor immediately upon successful payment. A physical copy can be arranged upon specific request by writing to info@humablefoundation.in. Receipts are issued only in the name of the verified donor/entity.

Refund Policy

As a general principle, donations made to a charitable trust are non-refundable, as they are committed to programme expenditure. However, we consider refund requests in the following circumstances:

Case 1 — Duplicate Transaction or Incorrect Amount:

If a donor is charged twice for the same transaction, or an incorrect amount was debited due to a technical error, the donor must email info@humablefoundation.in with the transaction details, amount, date, and a brief description of the issue. After verification, the excess or duplicate amount will be refunded within 30 working days from the date of receiving the request. Transaction/gateway charges, if any, will be borne by the donor.
Case 2 — Transaction Cancelled Mid-Process:

If a transaction is cancelled or interrupted during processing and the amount has been debited from the donor's account but has not been credited to Humable Foundation's account, the donor must first contact their bank or payment service provider to initiate a reversal. Humable Foundation will cooperate with the bank/gateway to facilitate resolution but cannot be held responsible for such cases. Please write to info@humablefoundation.in for assistance.
